Mar. 8th, 2020 05:08 amHey! So, Alice’s power, if you don’t know already, is the ability to see the future. As I described in my app:
Alice lives by her visions, and uses them as a normal person would use their eyesight. She’ll answer questions before they’re asked, see the end of movies before they start, and try to fix people’s futures when they start going bad.
Now unfortunately, Alice can’t not see futures of people she comes in constant or regular contact with, but I know that some people will be uncomfortable with Alice knowing their characters’ futures. So, I’ve thrown together a handy dandy permissions form to make everyone’s lives easier! If there’s anything you think I should add, let me know. I’ve never made one before.

Species: Are they a human mutant, a human, or a vampire?
App/wiki links: App and wiki links will help me understand your character and their possible futures more
Are you comfortable with Alice discussing your character’s future with them?: Their future within Port, not out of it! She can't see outside of Port like that
Are there any things you don’t want Alice to mention about your character’s future?: Restrictions you would like me to stick to
Are you comfortable with me messaging you to discuss visions Alice may receive : Yes or no
Contact info: Alice’s power requires me to be in almost constant contact so I know what paths your character may take. AIM and plurk are preferred, but I can work around it.
Anything else you want me to know?: ?????
CLARIFICATION: When I say "your character's future", I mean within Port only. Her power can't reach into other decisions, as cool as that would be. What we're dealing with is how your character will react, what they will say, or their future actions. Keep in mind, they can have multiple futures based on the decisions they make. Sorry if that wasn't clear before D:
Alice’s special power is clairvoyance. She can see the future, but what she sees are the results of choices people have made. If the person changes their mind, so does the future. So, almost nothing is set in stone. She can only see the futures of beings she’s been, meaning vampires and humans. In canon, she’s unable to see the Quileute werewolves and hybrid vampires. In Port, this poses a much greater problem, as there are so many more things.
For the purposes of the game, I’ve pounded out who Alice can and cannot see:
Yes: Humans, vampires, human mutants (Alice’s gift was present when she was a human, it can be seen as a sort of mutation)
No: Werewolves, shape shifters, celestial beings, demonic beings, anthropomorphic personifications, anything of supernatural origin that is not a vampire
